Handmade In Vermont's identity was inspired by the bucolic surroundings of the small town in Vermont where this retail store is located, Wallingford. The clasping hands can be found on a turn of the century gravestone {see below) in a nearby cemetary. The owner wanted to use green to work with the stone of the old mill, now the showroom and gallery. This Vermont handcrafted feeling was carried through to the website.
